St. Vrain

The Ft. St. Vrain Station in Platteville, CO is a natural gas fired combined cycle plant that consists of three combustion turbines and five heat recovery steam generators that feed the plants original steam turbine. This gives the plant a Power Production Capability of 965 mega watts, making it the largest gas-fired generating station in Colorado.  National Coatings, Inc. coated two new combustion turbine units in 2009, and we continue to be on-site doing miscellaneous maintenance coating.
